Christmas Newsletter
Year 2011

Welcome to Paws For Louise's First Online Newsletter
Firstly, thanks everyone for coming to me for all your dog's training, walking, and pet sitting needs. I love my job and every day is made special by the animals I take care of, so thank you for making this another good year!
I know this year has been a trying one for many, including myself, finances have been up and down with our country's recession and with soaring fuel prices, it is getting more and more difficult each year to travel but still we soldier on!! The only bonus this year has been a mild November and December so far...
As many of you will know, my partner, James, was in and out of hospital earlier in the year and my Gran died last month so I would like to say a special thank you to everyone who helped me during this time - your kind words and sympathy have gone a long way to helping me get through these bad patches.
Anyway, this year is nearly over so that just leaves me to say...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
As many of you already know, Paws For Louise is looking to expand into its own premises and I will be offering some new services in the new year. The move will take place in the Spring. I am keeping the location secret for now until it all goes through so watch the website and facebook for any new information.
I will be offering the following new services: Doggy Daycare, Residential Dog Training, and Twilight Hydrotherapy for dogs - using an underwater treadmill. These services will be in addition to what I already offer. I will also be setting up a dog shop where you can get all your dog training supplies, treats and dog food such as Naturediet and Feelwells.
The following services will also change slightly: Weekend Walkies will be weekly instead of fortnightly; Dog Training Classes will be held during the week on afternoons and evenings as well as on a Saturdays; and Overnight Pet Sitting will be exclusive to existing local clients only.
More on these new services in the New Year!!
Looking Ahead to 2012
The first Weekend Walkies of the year will be on Saturday 7th January at 3pm. These group socialisation walks are very popular and will be fortnightly until March when they become weekly and the time will move to 4pm as the evenings get lighter.
Dog Training Classes are due to begin on Saturday 14th January; weather permitting!! Starting with a Beginner Adult Course held at Thornton Dale Sportsfield. Puppy, Intermediate, Agility and Trick Training Courses will also be held during February and March, bookings already being taken...
I will be available for dog walking and pet sitting from Tuesday 3rd January and my diary is filling up already so please get in touch if you'd like me to walk your dog - 01751 474622 / 07875 535654 or pawsforlouise@hotmail.co.uk.
And Finally...
Remember your animals this Christmas - they love presents too. I have bought our dog a giant rawhide chew, a new blue collar from Xtradog.com, a Pets at Home food and toy stocking and a reindeer toy. Anyone who attends the last Walkies of the year with their dog on Saturday 10th December at 3pm, meeting at Thornton Dale Car Park, will get a free edible present for their dog. Walkies costs £3 per dog, discounts for multiple dogs. Hope to see you there!!
